Equipment in Detail

The Lamprobe is the one device that completes any aesthetic practice, it delivers 100% results, safely on all skin types to create flawless, smooth and blemish free skin, with no burning or the smell of burning flesh. Unsightly and unwanted lumps & bumps are vaporised, dried out or blanched gently so that no hyper-pigmentation, hypo-pigmentation or scarring occurs leaving the skin absolutely flawless.

THE LAMPROBE WORKS ON THE PRINCIPLES OF:

I. VAPORISATION:

This is the principal of liquids being attracted to heat to disintegrate the lesion alone and not the underlying and surrounding skin.

II. ELECTRO-DESICCATION:

This is the principal of specifically drying out lipids or sebum or cholesterol filled lesions. Some lipid based lesions need the hardened lipids to be liquefied, extracted and then desiccated and the Lamprobe is the only technology currently to achieve this.

III. THERMO-COAGULATION:

This is the principal of blood in the capillaries within the papillary dermis congealing as a gentle heat is being attracted to the moisture within the blood. The probe does not penetrate the skin so no scarring can occur and a blanching takes place effectively and immediately. This can be performed on the most delicate areas, such as the nasal area for example.

IV. ELECTRO-CAUTERIZATION:

This is a medical technique to remove an undesired or suspicious growth by mitigating the bleeding while excising, to perform a bloodless excision. This is performed by doctors only.

V. ELECTROLYSIS:

This is the principle of removing hair (any colour: grey, red and blonde) rooted into the dermis of the skin permanently, as destruction occurs when heat is attracted to the moisture where the hair bulb is situated. The treatment is highly skilled and precise and can be performed on all areas of the body on all skin types, using a gentle high frequency radio frequency current.

The Lamprobe is an IEC 6061-1 FDA – K941227/ A2 Class 1 type, with CE

Benefits of the Lamprobe:

The world renowned Lamprobe treats a wide variety of skin conditions, minor skin lesions and irregularities that skin care practitioners see on a daily basis. Lamprobe treatments are exceptionally quick. Some lesions can be removed within 3-5 seconds.

Based on radio wave and high frequency technology, the Lamprobe works on the principle of liquids being attracted to heat, released by various shapes and sized probes making treatments precise. Minor epidermal abnormalities can thus be effectively removed, without penetration of the skin’s surface, thus eliminating scarring and hypo-pigmentation. Minimal client discomfort is experienced, with no need for anaesthesia, although topical anaesthetic can be used for client/patient comfort.
